You might be thinking of these investigations. Either way, the allegations from information revealed in the laptop may very well have changed the course of the 2020 election if it had not been suppressed (a problem far beyond just twitter).

The question isn't if the laptop is damning or not, the question is did the government act to suppress reporting on it.

I haven’t heard anything substantial that they did. The only things I’ve heard were about trump having his feelings hurt by Chrissy and jimmy (though nothing came of those requests)

In September 2020, a year after the FBI took possession of Hunter's laptop, Twitter's Roth went to an exercise that dealt with a leak of Hunter Biden emails regarding Ukraine's Burisma as an October surprise in the 2020 election. Somehow, by insane coincidence, that exact thing literally happens a month later and Roth has to decide what to do about it.
Regardless of the seriousness of the information contained on the laptop and whether or not Trump's team also asked Twitter to remove tweets, put aside partisanship for just a minute, that unprecedented chain of events has gotta be at least a little suspicious, right?

Could it be that someone at Twitter the conference saw pieces of this exercise and took the documents/files to be genuine and ran to the nypost with it?
Hence why there is now so convenient a coincidence?
Roth and others at Twitter knew of the exercise and squashed the story because they knew it wasn't genuine.

Looking at these docs more closely, it seems murky.
The receipt is from April 2019 and is easy enough to forge.
The subpeona seems legit, but does not necessarily support anything else in this story.
If connecting these dots is the basis for the alleged cover up and the purported "weaponization" of the gov it all seems flimsy.
And all of this is to say it's the same kettle logic that Trump & his team were throwing around about Hillary leading up to 2016. So the fact that Guiliani is pivotal player in the story certainly makes me skeptical of its truthfulness.
It could be 100% true, but I'm left with quite a bit of reasonable doubt.
