These pictures make me sad I went digital this year. I guess I'll pick up the CD in a year or two on sale, just to add to the collection.

They're the only reason for me to wait for a release. I can't not have lyrics in front of me for my first listen to a Pearl Jam album. It'd make me feel unclean.
I'm not looking forward to the sinking feeling, to tell you the truth.

E.H. Ruddock wrote:Does anyone else have this ranked higher than Backspacer and S/T? It is better than Backspacer for me, and has an overall nicer sound than S/T, but I enjoy a lot of S/T songs way better live than on the album. Guess I'll wait and see how these songs hold up in concert.
I agree with you for sure. This album just has more great songs and more variety than those albums do. I think Let the Records Play has potential to come off really well live. Could be a lot rawer and bluesier live. Infallible will be interesting to hear-- I wonder if it will have that Neil Young, grungier sound that it seemed to have at the soundcheck. I hope Getaway opens up a few shows.

Next Thursday would be their only free day in NYC so I'd bet they'll do Letterman.

Is there any idea if the 10c Vinyl version will be any different (physically) than the in-store vinyl?

The newsletter mentioned a red vinyl, but don't know if that's a 10c thing or if all vinyls will be red??

yeah, thats my thought. Fallon is kind of the "it" show for music right now though. I imagine he could make a pretty good case for why they should play his show instead of Daves. younger audience

Dammit, that Halloween T-shirt is the only reason I've ever wished I was in the 10 Club.

If anyone who has the album in hand could post images of the lyrics to each song, that'd be spectacular.

I hope the CD case is better than the Backspacer one. That was way too fragile and thin for my taste.
