I thought the Wii controls were great on the original.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup!Revelator wrote:Nice, I'm planning to check this out over the weekend. Yeah, the "tank controls" never bothered me in the original RE games, so the Wii version seemed like the perfect sweet spot of quick aiming and building tension with limited movement.CopperTom wrote:I thought the Wii controls were great on the original.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup!Revelator wrote:Nice, I'm planning to check this out over the weekend. Re: What are you playing?
Yeah but you're talking to a guy who's pretty awful at gaming in general. I never actually had a Wii but remember playing on PS3 or PS4 (or something) and being super disappointed at how difficult it was to control Leon. I'm pretty excited to finally play a game that everyone raves as a classic 3rd person action/adventure!Monkey_Driven wrote:Yeah, the "tank controls" never bothered me in the original RE games, so the Wii version seemed like the perfect sweet spot of quick aiming and building tension with limited movement.CopperTom wrote:I thought the Wii controls were great on the original.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup!Revelator wrote:Nice, I'm planning to check this out over the weekend. Would love to hear they finally fixed all its launch issuesso bad. From the gratuitously long log-in, to the menu layout, to the sound FX, to the combat. Just a total disaster. They really need to give this franchise a hard reset — stop trying to compete with COD — or just let it go.

Re: What are you playing?
If I had more time I'd definitely get these two and finish them completely. The Metroid Prime remaster looks amazing. Maybe one day soon. But I'd want to play it on my TV and my old switch isn't connecting with controllers anymore.. so probably not. Maybe I'll bring it into work and play it there, though... I think I'll do that.Monkey_Driven wrote:Playing through Metroid Prime Remastered and Last of Us Part One. Doubt I will play better 1-2 punch of games this year. I hope that's not the case, but these are all-timers for me.
Resident Evil 4 Remake and Tears of the Kingdom have a chance!

I'm about halfway through Last of Us Part Two. Just sort of biding my time until Jedi Survivor at the end of the month. I'm going to wait for a price drop on Resident Evil 4 Remake and Dead Space.

I'm playing Indigo Prophecy now. Until Dawn was great. It felt like an actual horror movie. I didn't mind when a character got killed. It felt right.Monkey_Driven wrote:It is downloaded!psychobain wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:Yeah, Until Dawn was greatpsychobain wrote:have u played similar games?Monkey_Driven wrote:I saw that's on PS Plus Extra. I never heard of Little Hope or the Dark Pictures Trilogy. They definitely look right up my alley.
