I'm not sure if this is still the case but I don't think you can fast forward through commercials with recorded content on Hulu TV's basic package.

The place I’m staying this week uses Hulu Live TV so I’ve been able to give it a test run. And no way in hell am I switching to this platform. The interface drives me absolutely insane, and it lacks some features I took for granted with YouTube TV

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

yeah it took me awhile to get used to it using apple tv...the remote took some getting used to...the one cant stand is when i'm staying somewhere that uses roku..man i hate those remotes

I'm FIOS gigabit with an Asus Zen mesh system and it is rock solid. Didn't even need the FIOS router (which logs all DNS requests and sends them to verizon).

Locked in fiber with a "lifetime" rate a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. Nice job, wease.

So far, the fiber optic is about 3 times faster than what we were able to get with cable. After I get the mesh network up and running tomorrow we’ll take full advantage of the 1G service and it’ll be about 8 times faster than what we had.

Feeling pretty good about this move.

F all you bastards who have access to fiber. Cable's my only option unfortunately. Fuck comcast indeed. I did, however, cut the cord a few months back and loving it. Should have done it years ago.
