He's also really good in Un Cuento Chino. Good movie. Tells a story

He was also good in the tv series Mi Cuñado, from the 90s.

go watch The Summit, my favorite movie from him in a long time. Then Nine Queens or The Aura.
Thank you. None of them are available herr, but I’ll put them on my shortlist.

I do try to avoid it, but if the movie or sport is not for sale here at all, I don’t consider it as doing any wrong. Still need subtitles.

 Solaris the book: It was ok, but not great. Too sciency. Focuses on the utter alien-ness of the planet at the expense of the characters.

 Solaris (1972) Best of the lot. More interesting exploration of the theme, but I was disappointed in the poor visuals. It's not as pretty as i was hoping.

:finger: Solaris (2002) This sucked. Jettisoned all the interesting bits in favor of a lame love story with dumb motivations. Flubbed the best line in the book. Terrible casting, too. Very limp movie all around.

Everyone else seems to love that one, but I was disappointed. Got b-movie vibes, and the story kind of bored me at times.

Edge Of Tomorrow

Think it’s only the second time since I first saw it in the cinema. Great action so far.

No, I own it.

Had a great time with it. Ending half an hour probably the lesser part of the movie. Could have used a great ending.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

tragabigzanda wrote:Totally agreed. First 2/3 are magnificent. The final act isn’t awful, but it’s a drop off in quality: the plot turns feel thrown together, and the lighting detracts from any real sense of scope at the Louvre and underwater.

Inherent Vice

Interesting start to the movie. Never seen it before. Still quite a long time left of it, fairly long movie.

This is an interesting movie. Think I will see it again soon, or possibly listen to it like a podcast, while working with something easy and relaxing.
