Just extend the occasional olive branch to the guy, like they do everyone else who played drums in Pearl Jam for five minutes.

The thought came from trag's observation about the band's barn-storming performances on Vs elevating the record - Dave's drums are a huge part of that.
Sadly the RnRHoF was the time.

i think he called out Ed for his BS early and will pay the price for it forever

a blemish on Ed’s perfection persona

Ed will pretend Dave A never existed just like he over-dubbed away the last (beautiful) ‘Beth’s’ from Oceans MTV Unplugged

Vs. is pretty inconsistent once you get passed all of the loud angst.
MD gets it
This is true, but so is the take that the performances are so passionate it hardly matters

Hot take: some Pearl Jam fans might have liked this album more if it had a different album title.
