Nearly finished S3. Not as strong as the first two seasons, but still decent.

Greg? is easily the best character. Tom is also very funny and I loved that his character was given some complexity over time. Connor was hilarious at first but became more sadcringe as his presidential bid took shape.

Roman grew on me. He's still completely fucked in the head, but it was great to see glimpses of his business sense improving, slowly but surely. (It was bullshit that Shiv accused him of butchering the phone call with the PUSA. It was never salvageable! At least he stepped up to the plate!)

Kendall and Shiv became super annoying. Kinda disappointing.

Do Succession trailers usually give away that much plot? I imagine there will be surprises, but I feel like there are some huge moves revealed in the trailer that would’ve been fun to see develop.

Finished S3. The cliffhanger was quite mild compared to previous seasons.

Feel like I was a little harsh on Kendall towards the end there. His eventual emotional breakdown was exceptionally well acted.

And look at Greg? the Egg go. Chatting up some pieces despite Roman's best efforts.

Then there's Shiv. Still kinda annoying. Her ass do be insane tho.

Greg? is easily my favorite. Tom and Romulus are close behind.

Credit to the writing and to Macfayden because I actually felt a little bad for Tom in that moment. Even knowing everything about him and Shiv and that marriage, I still felt sad for him

And Greg? sparring with Logan kind of came out of nowhere but was played perfectly: completely sincerely but as if there are no stakes. Greg? has come to terms with his role in the family. He's wallpaper. He wasn't even called into that meeting! He just came in and stayed and no one cared. Great stuff

Shiv is gonna have a redemption arc. They've written her into the ground as a bratty, selfish hypocrite. There's no way that ship stays its course.

Roman still has the best zingers. Hilarious!

There was just so much pain and grief in the Tom/Shiv ending, it really felt like someone died in that room. Just great stuff all around. For a split second, I was worried Tom was going to get violent and it would get even darker--really it could've been the only way for the character to match Shiv's fierceness in that scene, but there's no way Tom has that in him.

I want to re-watch the episode just to see Karl's face again when Logan asks him to be funny.

Not sure about the redemption arc for these characters. I hope it doesn’t happen.

I guess HBO Max is streaming the day after it airs on the cable channel as we checked it all day and evening and it wasn’t available yet.
