Stip, I can't congratulate you enough for using "irrespective" instead of "irregardless". Internet high five.

The same for me. I was sad when i first heard Binaural and was sure it was the end of the road after hearing Riot Act the first time. They grew on me immensly over time. Not as such, but it separates all the elements of the sound and puts different elements to the left or right ear. The sound is less "muddy", everything is better defined, the bass is bigger, and the sound is generally more rounded and full-bodied Vedder. It's just better all around.stip wrote:So does the flac reveal anything people didn't notice before?

That separation really is showcasing how well this is mixed. This is a finely produced album. At this point it's probably only FD that I think is too full of orchestration shit.HardTI wrote:That separation really is showcasing how well this is mixed. This is a finely produced album. I gave the album to my brother and a co-worker. Neither are hardcore fans by any means. They both picked the same 3 songs. My Fathers Son, Lightning Bolt, and Let the Records Play.

Cool. My burn of the stream sounds pretty crappy on my car speakers. Muddy is a good description.HardTI wrote:That separation really is showcasing how well this is mixed. In this case, no I won't. I'm getting bored of wheelchair jokes, especially coming from you, where there's no friendship involved. Just because you want to feel like you've made a funny, it doesn't mean I have to accept your patronisation.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:You're a pansy with no sense of humor.
