I happened to look something up about our trip and I noticed our flight arrives April 9 and our first hotel night is April 10. I made the same booking for my sister’s fam. Yikes. No rooms available in our hotel. We found another one like a mile away for the first night.

Jeeebus.

After a dead sprint through SeaTac airport this morning, I am on a flight to Mexico with my kids.

Mrs. Bam, however - who packed 3 months worth of clothes for a 1 week trip to the beach - is currently in line back at the re-booking counter because she wasn’t ready in time this morning leaving the house and we missed the cutoff to check her bag.

Will she join us tonight? Tomorrow? No one knows.

Dude believe me … that wasn’t an option at least not on our tight timeline.

I am a little glad this happened. Hope she learns a lesson about over packing and taking her sweet fucking time getting to the airport.

Probably upgraded to first class then took an Uber from the airport straight to a bar. Still sitting there.
