I’ve always got subtitles on, even for Norwegian movies. It’s not an «I can’t understand English» thing, I just enjoy having subtitles on.

This one's an automatic subtitles on from the start kind of movie.

I usually don't like to use braille because then my fingers are covering up the bottom of the screen.

You can change the braille settings to be on your butt.

I did. It's like a very good HBO miniseries. Worth looking at if you're into that sort of thing
OHHH I'm watching this now. Sounds great.

Your TV must be smarter than mine, but this sounds great.

I didn't understand this so I googled "Heaven's gate masturbation". It turns out there is an actual HBO documentary miniseries called 'Heaven's Gate: The Cult of Cults'.

I do not know anything about that. I was talking about the four hour long Michael Cimino 1980 western Heaven's Gate. It is a movie, but it feels like a good miniseries.

Sorry for the confusion

Very interesting, yet flawed movie.

Son Of Saul

Won best foreign movie at the Academy Awards. Well made WW2 movie. Too grim to be fully enjoyable, but well worth watching.

«A Jewish-Hungarian concentration camp prisoner sets out to give a child he mistook for his son a proper burial.»

Needed an easy movie after that, so San Andreas it will be, will also do a rewatch of Land Of Mine, Ted 2 and Eddie The Eagle. Just 30 rewatches left for 2018 after that, and 47 first time viewings.

Good question.

I was basing that opinion entirely off of this GQ article which I haven't actually read

Well I loved it. I can't believe I waited 20 years to watch it.

I wonder why Max Pirkis stopped acting? He was really good on Rome and in this movie and then he just disappeared.

It’s a good one, wish there were more movies like it.

Rien a foutre (Zero Fucks Given) by Emmanuel Marre and Julie Lecoustre. Really enjoyed this despite a lot of TV-like and sometimes cramped framing. Adèle Exarchopoulos is very good
