Of course no one is expecting a Lando movie. Why would anyone be expecting that?

Three original movies, three prequels, three sequels, two Star Wars story films. Need one more to make a sort of trilogy. Not a Solo sequel, but something different, close to the timeline of Solo and Rogue One.

Not saying these two have the exact same timeline, just that they are part of the larger timeline of that era in between the PT and the OT. The third A Star Wars Story movie should also be there. Could be Lando: A Star Wars Story about a young Lando, pre-OT.

nah, the solo movie tanked and they shut down that Fett movie. But who know with these guys anywayAnders wrote:Not saying these two have the exact same timeline, just that they are part of the larger timeline of that era in between the PT and the OT. I would want a new story after the sequels. Get something new to wipe those movies from my brain. And take time, get the scripts right, get the same creative team..make it a fucking event again.

You understand they don't get to keep 100% of the box office right? Probably around 50% domestic in the 30-40% range international and even less in China. Also marketing....100-150 million there. It lost a shit ton of money and that's assuming the published production number is accurate which I doubt. They underinflate the spend and overinflate the profits. It's a game. Conveniently they never report the interest they pay on the money they borrow to make the movies. Ask the stores that had all that unsold Solo merch how successful that movie was.epilogue wrote:Looks like the budget for Solo was $275-300 million. And it's box office was $392 million.bada wrote:How many hashtags does it take to match the amount of money Solo lost? One...two...three... 100 million.
So I guess it made at least $92 million. So, to answer your question...

Re: Rumoured Star Wars projects
Other than the animated stuff, I genuinely look forward to just about anything Star Wars. I can't wait to get back into theaters.
I really hope they go back to dropping stuff in December, because that just made it all feel even more exciting and special.
There's a reason we all hated Solo, and that reason is May. Either that or the "who are you're people?" scene. That was pretty bad too.

We all didn’t hate Solo.
I loved it. Many more love it too.
But agree about Christmas releases being far better.

Loved the ending. It promised more adventures either implied or to come.
I really hope we get more Solo movies tbh.
Yeah the name bit was cringe though
