Second viewing of this as well. Enjoyed the first one, which was almost to the day, six years ago.
Still a very long time to go, but wanted to say that I’m really enjoying this. The mood and the telling of the true story feels legit.
Of course, not all of it is true.

That wasn’t actually that bad.

I do dislike when Hollywood completely changes (major) historical events, but I do understand that it’s difficult to tell events from a full decade in a couple of hours.

The Pope's Exorcist

So, so incredibly stupid. Also a tremendous amount of fun when it fully gives in to its trashier instincts. Russell Crowe is great.

The Big Short

«In 2006-2007 a group of investors bet against the United States mortgage market. In their research, they discover how flawed and corrupt the market is.»

Second time seeing this. Another based on true events story. Here names have been changed, but apparently it’s close to what actually happened. Some great actors here.

Also planning rewatches of The Danish Girl, Me and Earl and The Dying Girl, Sicario, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and Bridge Of Spies. Will then only have ten planned rewatches left from 2015, and will continue on the 44 movies I haven’t seen before.

Year One

Watching this Anders-style while I tidy up the house. As far as dumb comedies to put on in the background go, you could do a lot worse. It's got some good laughs.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

« High schooler Greg?, who spends most of his time making parodies of classic movies with his co-worker Earl, finds his outlook forever altered after befriending a classmate who has just been diagnosed with cancer.»

Watching this all alone in a quiet apartment. Is that Farmer John-style?
