The luckiest person in the world is probably only like 51% lucky.

Why “inclement” weather isn’t referred to as “inclimate” weather

It’s derived from Latin, like a lot of terms.

Inclimate sounds like it means unusual weather, rather than bad.

Why do only girls wear makeup? .

Are girls naturally ugly but boys aren't?

Whether it’s prescient or worrisome that Mrs. Bam keeps a bag of “phone rice” in the pantry just in case.

Whether or not I agree with my sister’s take on this:

A cousin in California, about 45 years old, has cancer and honestly maybe 2 months to live. We are not close … no ill will or anything, just not close. My sister is considering going down there for my cousin’s funeral. I said if she’s going to go down there, it would be more meaningful to visit while my cousin is alive. My sister says if it was her on the deathbed, she would not want a visit from a distant cousin. Not that the visit isn’t appreciated, but with so little time left that’s not who she would want to (be obligated to) spend it with. I get that, but I also think I’d appreciate the visit. :?

I can’t due to some commitments with my own family. If she makes it til after the kids’ school year ends, then yes.
