No, I wear shoes out of the house. I just don't like them and as soon as I can, I take them off, usually as soon as I get home from whatever I'm doing that requires them. Not a big sandals guy lately either, I prefer sanuks for if I have to wear something around the house like yard work, etc.

Good to know, thanks!

I can't believe you're laughing. I was going to make that joke to end my original post about her, but decided it was in poor taste. Shame on both of you.

I take my shoes off immediately inside my door at home. Barefoot or socks when my feet get a bit nippy indoors all day.

didn't they just release a study that shows how much crap is actually trekked into homes from people wearing their shoes indoors (carpeted spaces are double the amount than hard wood (heh)).

I assume people who wear their shoes indoors have just given up on cleaning their floors (and probably the rest of their house too)

It's a real red flag.

my father in law will literally step over the pile of shoes at the front door from others already in my house and walk around in his clumsy hiking boots. it's especially infuriating in the winter when it's snowy out.

So you’ve never run back in for something and left your shoes on?

Everyone has. That doesn't excuse your degenerate behavior.
