Maybe Rocket gets transformed into human Rocket. That way Marvel can make a Wrecking Crew show or movie with Bradley Cooper.

I hate that tree so much. Truly one of the most obnoxious characters in Marvel.VinylGuy wrote:there are also a giant tree and a talking raccoon.BurtReynolds wrote:PassVinylGuy wrote:yesBurtReynolds wrote:Are there any girls in this?

I'm not very familiar with Baby Yoda. He looks like a Gizmo ripoff. But that tree is so dumb.JuanHamm wrote:More or less than that stupid baby Yoda?BurtReynolds wrote:You hear that B? I hate that tree.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3 (5/5/23)
Early reviews are positive.
The soundtrack is mostly more modern music. I hope they put out a record of songs from the Christmas Special for the November Record Store Day.
1. Creep (Acoustic Version) – Radiohead
2. Crazy On You – Heart
3. Since You Been Gone – Rainbow
4. In The Meantime – Spacehog
5. Reasons – Earth, Wind And Fire
6. Do You Realize?? – The Flaming Lips
7. We Care A Lot – Faith No More
8. Koinu No Carnival (From "Minute Waltz") – EHAMIC
9. I'm Always Chasing Rainbows – Alice Cooper
10. San Francisco – The Mowgli's
11. Poor Girl – X
12. This Is The Day – The The
13. No Sleep Till Brooklyn – Beastie Boys
14. Dog Days Are Over – Florence + The Machine
15. Badlands – Bruce Springsteen
16. I Will Dare – The Replacements
17. Come And Get Your Love – Redbone

Actually, now that I look at it. That's not modern music. I'm just old.

Man, what a ride. Funny, action packed and so emotional. Gunn did it again really.
You care so much for this characters, you are invested on them...rocket backstory man...everything with Peter and Gamora...Nebula´s growth as a character...damn, so well made.
It was also very nice to see real sets again in a fucking Marvel movie. Looks awesome.

Why are MCU movies ending with heroes acquiring children? Sorry, Disney, but I’m not gonna have kids for you to have future customers

Yeah, honestly, this is such a fantastic movie. James Gunn appears to be the only Marvel director worth a damn. Limber, fluid action scenes. Very tactile cinematography and design elements (opposite of Ant-Man 3, which felt like Sound Stage City). It gets so grim at points, there's one scene in particular that I'm sure parents will absolutely complain about. But overall, such a beautiful movie. Gunn is 4 for 4 in these big superhero films, his work is always on a whole other level of craft and thoughtfulness

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3 (5/5/23)
Do You Realize was a perfect song for this (if not a little too on the nose with the “floating in space” line), but they kinda cheap out the emotional weight of the line “everyone you know will die” by having Quill take his headphones out and leaving the line a background noise from the headphones.
