I think I've ranted about this before, but the technology around appointment reminders is driving me bonkers!

I have a doctor's appointment that the staff watched me put into my phone calendar while I stood in front of them, and STILL I get 2 texts, an e-mail, and a phone call, all of which want me to respond in some way or another to confirm that I got them.

Fuck off! I'm an adult, and I know how to write shit down.

Had to schedule an appointment two days ago with the VA for this morning. As soon as I scheduled, I got a text asking me to confirm. I did. Got two more over the last couple of days and I ignored them. On my way to the appointment today, a lady called from there making sure I was coming in. Yes, I'm the one that made and confirmed the appointment!
