They would’ve been great second round picks. The value just wasn’t there. If they wanted to go RB first round, they could’ve stuck with the 6 pick and took Bijan.
i read ppl think this is a weak draft so there were many teams looking to trade back but no one looking to trade up
so some picks in the mid to late first round that looked like reaches

It was brutally awful. Just no understanding about the importance of positional value at all. Best thing they did was taking a flyer on Hendon Hooker just in case--no pressure either on him as he rehabs, nor on the Lions while they have Goff under contract.
