Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. On a related note, I've used that Adobe AI speech enhancement thing a few times to clean up some audio for work, and man once you know how it sounds you start to hear it everywhere in newer videos. Yeah The Road movie isn't a very good adaptation. I think Blood Meridian is unreadable so I imagine you're right, it's probably also unfilmable.

The Road is fine. Not as brutal or hopeless as the book, but hits all the main points pretty well.
