If this is the best oppo research they have, Gorsuch is fine. I don't understand this grasping at the Justices. Ground work for impeachment/ nullification?elliseamos wrote:Felt left out Gorsuch?
It emerged Tuesday that after nearly two years of trying to sell a vacation property, Gorsuch and two partners found a buyer — who happened to be the head of a major law firm that often practices before the high court. That's according to a financial disclosure report, which shows the sale to Greenberg Traurig CEO Brian Duffy came a month after Gorsuch was appointed to the Supreme Court in April 2017.

Yeah there are lots of examples of this. Absolutely brutal, overt theft by state governments. I read about this months ago when the Court took the case so I'm light on details at the moment but I think there's a handful of states who do this and one or two in particular who have done this repeatedly.

They have so far refused to blow up civil asset forfeiture. Turns out when you are on the government payroll, you are incentivised to not pay too much attention to where that money comes from.4/5 wrote:Yeah there are lots of examples of this. Thomas and Alito are going to be SOOOOOOOO mad if they don't get 3 other Justices to give States the power to destroy Black people over $2,300.Bi_3 wrote:

So according to the article she did nothing illegal, followed explicit legal guidance, and the ‘whistleblower’ lost a poaching suit against her ten years ago?

Re: The Supreme Court
Phase 5 is declare the court illegitimate so that progressives no longer feel bound by its rulings. You’ll see more and more language on that during the next 6 months.
Anyway… Not that y’all care about reality but Alito dropped some interesting nugs recently:

How would the leak make anyone a target in a way that the decision, a couple of weeks later, would not?
