What is this Organ Trail movie? Looks like it's out now, but I can't find any reviews.

Good for him. I can relate to some extent. Will he start making better movies? Who knows

On a related note, I've used that Adobe AI speech enhancement thing a few times to clean up some audio for work, and man once you know how it sounds you start to hear it everywhere in newer videos. Feels like it's becoming a replacement for proper mic'ing and EQ. It's all over that video and I hate it

The director is encouraging, but I still think this movie is unfilmable. A reader can only be disappointed.

he doesn’t have a chance. he’s a fine director, but he’s not up to it

what could you possibly do to make this thing (and to make it your own) without ass fucking into the dirt the hellish, simultaneously supra-human & banal dread that marks every page of this novel

Yeah The Road movie isn't a very good adaptation. I think Blood Meridian is unreadable so I imagine you're right, it's probably also unfilmable.BurtReynolds wrote:The director is encouraging, but I still think this movie is unfilmable. A reader can only be disappointed.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
The Road is fine. Not as brutal or hopeless as the book, but hits all the main points pretty well.
