He was really good. I really enjoyed Michelle Rodriguez and Hugh Grant too.

Crimson Peak

Wanted this to be better. Fine actors, top production, famous director, interesting start to the film. But eventually it lacks something. The story is typical, and at times a bit boring.

Totally agree. I couldn't figure it out, but something just didn't work there.

I was going to agree with all of this, but then I realized I was confusing it with Nightmare Alley. But the same could be said for both.

Mr. Holmes is almost the opposite of the previous movie I saw. It’s a quiet simple production, a good story, actors doing some of their best work. But similar in that it fails to fully engage. A bit slow, too little from his last case, which should have taken more time.
