New switch and Metroid day for me, yay. Kiddo was so excited to play with it last night. My turn. He’ll have to earn it today and wait til I get home.

I'm hoping they announce Zelda DLC and it's release date. Read that the final 1st party major Switch release will be full game version of Bowser's Fury. I never played the original Bowser's Fury so I don't know what to expect. Maybe the Skies of Arcadia remake will be unveiled.

Supposedly, components (screens) for the Switch 2 are already being manufactured. Maybe we'll get confirmation that Nintendo is actually working on a Switch successor.

And as I say every single time - I hope they finally announce Nintendo Select /greatest hits line of games.

I bet the next console will be announced in late fall with a Spring 2024 release date. Al full game version of Bowser's Fury? Interesting.

Super Mario RPG Remake
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Pikmin 1 and 2 HD

I'm happy with those for late console cycle releases. Wonder looks bonkers.

I just realized that I will be in New York City when Super Mario Wonder is released. There will probably be a special midnight event at the Nintendo store. I'll just have to go.

So Europe just mandated that future consumer electronics have user-replaceable batteries. I wonder if that means Switch 2 will need to be redesigned. Ugh.

I've never played a Pikmin game beyond the demos. Might have to check it out after TotK.

Haven't touched my Switch in over a year due to joy-con drift. I only ever play it handheld, so a bit of a dealbreaker.

Has anyone tried the third party joycons? Thinking I might get some of those big wide bois for comfy gayming.
