Going to be picking up my kiddo soon to take her to soccer practice. I plan to do some grocery shopping while she's there. Tomorrow I am spending the night at my GF's and we are going out for Cinco de Mayo.

O, I got a zoo, I got a menagerie, inside my ribs, under my bony head, under my red-valve heart—and I got something else: it is a man-child heart, a woman-child heart: it is a father and mother and lover: it came from God-Knows-Where: it is going to God-Knows-Where—For I am the keeper of the zoo: I say yes and no: I sing and kill and work: I am a pal of the world: I came from the wilderness.

So today is my youngest daughter's 6th birthday, and for whatever reason at the moment she's Barbie crazy, so asked for a whole bunch of Barbie crap for her birthday. When we've been in toy stores and stuff she's been absolutely loosing her mind over this huge Barbie playhouse thing. We decided we'd get that for her, but I also went online to our local version of eBay and bought a 2nd-hand rangi-as cheap Barbie house. This morning before school she got up and the lounge was filled with presents (not the huge barbie house) and before school she got to open a selection. I gave her the ragni Barbie house, you know dampen the spirits before she gets the awesome gift and she acted like it was the greatest present she'd ever recieved.

My other daughter never did, and this seems to have been a real sudden shift in interests

Moved the oldest out of her dorm this evening and brought everything (and her) back home. She has completed her Freshman year of college.
