According to IMDB, it’s only 4 hours long.

I wonder if they'll be able to manage to make the other books into movies.

Does that include an intermission bathroom break?

My friend who has read them multiple times says this would be a fool's errand. He can kind of see a world where the second book works, but not the third. I've never read them, but I generally trust his opinion on this stuff.
Doesn’t Paul turn into a sand worm and narrate from that perspective?

Not even Timothee could make a sand worm hot.

Denis wants to do Messiah and it would provide a proper conclusion to Paul’s arc.

If the Bene Gesserit prequel series does well, I could see them doing the rest of the books on HBO. But that’s probably a pipe dream.

As a non-book reader, the Bene Gesserit was the most intriguing part of this world, so I'm down for a prequel series.
