Mountain time zone seems to be the sweet spot for the playoffs and TV. I rarely watch the East Coast games live because they are right in the middle of our family nightime routine.

They just can’t miss from three. It’s madness.

All respect to Draymond but a gentle breeze could steal AD's spirit.

True, he will be one of the superstars that requires a paragraph of additional context decades from now when describing his inconsistent dominance.

Alright, tonight was impressive, Mr. Tatum.

Now do it all the damn time.

Jimmy is still him. This series should have been a sweep, hopefully Miami doesn't mess around and let this thing drag out longer than it should. Ideally they'd finish it in 5 and the Sixers would find some life in themselves.

This post would also work for AD.

At least he's got a title, but I don't watch/follow him enough to know...

Do people talk about him like he's an mvp and then he disappears for full games or with the game in the balance?

Or defer to someone else with the game winning shot in over time down by 1?

Still himself.

He made the right basketball play both times. Hero ball is so overrated.

The right play would be to shoot it before the time expires.

They needed 1 point to extend the game, 2 points to win it.

Blame that on the coach more than anything. They took way too long to get into the action because they were just winging it.

Sure. With 2 timeouts in his pocket it seemed especially stupid to not use one after Harden's 3.

I still think Tatum is a choker. He fits right in with Boston sports these days...

I think the mistake was waiting too long to get into a play. The way he was dribbling at the top I thought for sure he was going to launch a 3 but he didn't do anything particularly egregious on that play.

AD is weird because nobody talks about him like an MVP because he never plays enough. His deal is that he can go games or sometimes weeks where it's obvious to anybody with eyes that at that moment he is a top 3 to 5 player and is impacting the game in a way almost nobody else in the league is capable of doing. And then he'll put up 11 and 6 and be absolutely invisible for games at a time. His inconsistency is just on a whole other level.

Consistent excellence is the elite level that very few players can ever reach. I'm not talking just counting stats either. The consistent ability to impact the game, put up stats, and perform in the highest pressure moments is what makes the greats great. I don't consider it a huge demerit that Tatum or AD fall short in that area.

His inconsistency in this year’s playoffs has been wild.
