cortizone didn't give me much relief at all. but docs are talking about injecting it into a different spot. i'm mattress shopping as we type.

the kicker is because of my drug addiction (which i tell every doc about, as well as the scrambled egg brain), they aren't prescribing me pain meds.

i am the narrator of me & my arrow, but there are multiple arrows -- one in my foot, one in my calf, one in my hamstring, one in my ass, one in my lower back. me and my arrows
i'm pretty sure i started fucking with verb to trust when i was laid up and on pain meds for my back. so at least you're avoiding that fate.
:D

Oh man…What’s the medical plan?
not sure. i finally had appt with a new doc, who thinks i'm not beyond the restorative effects of pt. but fuck, it feels like it's surgery time.

getting a second cortizone shot here hopefully soon. gotta fight insurance co
hoping you can get that second shot, man. as i've mentioned previously, it did so much for me compared to the first shot.
i think of you when i think of it

I know the feeling. Are you still eating well and exercising? That's always a good thing to be able to tell yourself when you're feeling down

All I’ve done this week is a crappy run on Tuesday. I haven’t eaten that badly, but a little worse than normal.

Just no motivation to do anything. Intrusive thoughts in abundance.

I hope you do as well.

I know the walking part is the easiest and one of the more effective things to do, just need to force myself to do it. The talking to a friend part is a bit more complicated.
