I would like to rewatch Hateful Eight. Definitely QT’s worst, but I had a similar take as Anders.

i think, in terms of formal composition, it's his second best or so.

What elements do you include as formal composition? Or is it essentially everything?Malloy wrote:i think, in terms of formal composition, it's his second best or so.

I found the informal composition to be lacking.

I've been thinking about Spring Breakers a lot this morning. I really wasn't expecting it to be such a good movie.

Youth
A movie that holds more than what immediately meets the eye. Filled with fine performances (Caine, Keitel, Weisz and Dano). Growing old and the fears related to it is a central theme, bit there is also more from each individual character. Some wonderful dialogue.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
«In the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.»
Usually enjoy Guy Ritchie films, so this should be entertaining.

Watched The Beach Bum this evening.
Not much in the way of story, but it was a very pleasant watch.

Really enjoyed The Pope's Exorcist.
Wonderfully dumb and ridiculous in all the right ways. Russell Crowe does most of the heavy lifting. I would watch a series of movies with him playing this character. The Hercule Poirot of exorcisms.

I actually haven't seen Sideways since it came out. I enjoyed it back then, but I have a feeling it would irritate me now.
