Trying to finish American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon by Steven Rinella.

Also, started an audiobook version of Lonesome Dove. It's great so far. I might pick up a hard copy.

i read the novella and title story from Goodbye, Columbus today. has some incredible moments, but there are too few of them. impressive that such a young writer made it, though.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

:hooray: The titular story might be a tough point of entry but it is so great.

Winky and The End of FIRPO are two of my favorites of his.
