If you do the side quest the clothing person gives you there, the price of the set it’ Is greatly reduced. I haven’t done it yet but i will. If you don’t it’s 15,000 for the whole setCopperTom wrote:Thanks! That's where it was in BotW. I can't catch bugs for shit without it. This was my goto gear in botw.E.H. Proud of u, booE.H. Ruddock wrote:It’s like BotW on steroids. I think they meant it to have more to do than BotW so the enjoyment will last.
Seriously ascend is great. Got me out of more than a fewtight spacesspots where the game was specifically designed to use it

Re: Zelda Games
For as much time as i logged playing this weekend (15+ hours?), i didn't rack up as much progress as i would have thought. I got through a dozen shrines, a few side quests and about 20 koroks. Loving the hell out of it but I will tend to agree that once I got down to Hyrule, the game does feel like BotW with a fresh coat of paint. Currently feeling a little lost as I don't remember enough about the map to know where i'm going, but i also haven't ventured out too far to start the main regional quests either just the couple in central Hyrule. I'm content to take my time and spend the summer on this one.
There was some conversation about amiibos a couple pages back. Don't know if you guys are aware but you don't need the actual amiibos if you aren't into the collectible part of it, you an just get them in unofficial card form and they work the same. We ordered a set for BotW a few years ago for not very much $$ and they all worked just fine. The game just reads the RFID or whatever is embedded in them the same as it does the real thing. I assume this is a black market thing cause the ones we got definitely were, but maybe nintendo makes some official ones too? The wolf companion was pretty sweet.

Yes, as somebody else said, this probably should have been called BOTW 2. It just builds on everything from the previous game. It's definitely better and worth playing. Though I sure do wish it were on better hardware. Enjoying it.

Have you guys ventured into the chasms yet? It is basically a map the size of the ground but underground. It is great.

I did the intro quest for that, just enough to light up a couple of those tree things and skedaddle out. I'm hoping for some real unique encounters down there. It's an intriguing concept that encourages stealth and playing conservatively.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Have you guys ventured into the chasms yet? Same. I came across some bad guys with a yellow health meter and couldn't seem to do any damage. Just came across some more on above ground, didn't last long. Those guys are rough.mf wrote:I did the intro quest for that, just enough to light up a couple of those tree things and skedaddle out. I'm hoping for some real unique encounters down there. I haven't spent much time down there. It seems relatively barren. Those hands are a pain. The treasure maps found in the sky lead to treasure in the depths.tree_ wrote:Same. I've come across some great gear so far down in the chasms. And the ability to save builds so it is easier to build things in the future.

I'm not sure what that yellow bar means either but yeah i ran into a few bokoblins that had it and they were TOUGH to deal with. Bomb flowers arrows seemed to take out a pretty good chunk of their health if you have enough to spare.tree_ wrote:Same.
