i don't want to alarm you, but my buddy saw her a couple of weeks ago in salt lake, and said it kind of sucked. she had two openers (you don't need two openers, let alone one), and with the curfew, snail mail's set seemed super rushed, and there was not a lot of interaction with the crowd.
hopefully it's different for you guys. let us know how it goes.

thanks. yeah, we saw her a few years ago at a festival in Norman. this was pre-Valentine, and she was mostly playing stuff from the EP she had. it was good though.
as for the two openers, we saw Water From Your Eyes open for Spoon/Interpol last year. they were okay. definitely an art rock thing, something i can handle only once in a while.
doors for this open at...i think...6:30, and she's been going on around 9/9:30. i'm too old to wait through two openers, so we'll likely head to the venue just before it's time for her to go on.

Just snapped up tickets to see Goose on their first UK tour. Watching them in a 400 capacity venue. Is that a step down from what they usually play - feels like they could be playing bigger venues based on the buzz from the States.
I saw them in the US in March - venue sits 1800. They could easily fill an arena but have continued playing theaters. Enjoy the show, if not the, among the best shows I have seen.

At least I was able to sit for a good part of last night’s show.
i'm gonna be a puddle by saturday morning. at least two of those are with my daughter (caroline polachek) and my son (sunday's the national show), and the whole family (friday the national (soccer mommy is opening, and my daughter loves her)).
