Yeah I watched some videos from a few of last year's shows and really made me lean toward going. I have no reason not to, and tickets aren't that unreasonably priced.

I haven't really listened to Interpol since their first two albums and even that's been a long, long time ago. Not sure how much i'd enjoy them these days, but i'm sure I wouldn't mind them live.

Cenotaph is really good yeah. I love how the acoustic guitar sounds and how everything is build towards it.

There are a lot of Pink Floyd moments in this album. Floyd circa The Division Bell.

Listened to Zeitgeist in full; with all the extra tracks from the different edition. What a fucking great album.

Starz grew up on my in a big way. Is this jimmy’s definitive album?

Have gone from thinking ATUM was absolute shite to picking a decent dozen tunes, and now after listening to the CD in the car that this is a very good album with a few clangers in it. The podcast quality made them sound really cheap, but though it sounded great today.

I had the exact same experience re: the podcast. I actually saved the third act to hear in full for this reason. I really love the production.

No, that's Gish or Siamese Dream. But it's a very strong Jimmy record.

yeah, production is good. He is still very prominent in the mix, but i can take it.

Also, i really loved all the podcast stuff...I never followed the Atum story and Billy is insufferable but every talk about the atum sessions and the old songs were amazing.

Kinda made me jump back to different times. I might even go back to Future Embrace!

Yeah, i remember you being a huge Starz fan. I listened to that youtube remixed comp and damn its a banger.

Listening to that podcast about the album also helped.

"Cenotaph" is probably my fav. song of theirs since Machina. It's absolutely stunning. God damn.

i know its a beloved album here, but damn if Shiny vol1 doesnt sound as a more classic SP album, specially after listening to Oceania's first 4 songs.

Marching On is a personal favorite.

I like Silvery Sometimes and Marchin' On, but currently I'd call that album their worst. Rick Rubin is a hack lol

Been listening to these guys quite a bit. Raz is digging it. Just the songs I know are good, mostly. I don't have the courage to explore stuff after Melancholies' sadness yet.

Can "Muzzle" and "Rocket" coexist in a Smashing Pumpkins playlist or are they way too similar to each other
