I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The motorcycle chase is where I cannot forgive this movie - the bike keeps switching from road to motorcross tyres during the same chase. this is honestly about the only thing I can remember from #2wease wrote:Finished the second. Thought the motorcycle chase would never end.
Starting the 3rd.

The motorcycle sequence was awesome and I wish it was even longer

I only remember that the Independence Day trailer played before this one, and I was blown away by it (don't lie to yourself, you were too). I saw MI 3 times just to see the ID trailer.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I still very much enjoy the first.
Don't remember the movie except that Emilio Estevez died.

Well considering I did not see MI I in the theater, no, I was not blown away by the ID trailer. Though I do vividly remember my aunt taking me and my cousin to see it. It was one of the first times, maybe the first, that I had seen a summer blockbuster in the theater. I do not remember my impression of the movie though, oddly enough. God bless.BurtReynolds wrote:I only remember that the Independence Day trailer played before this one, and I was blown away by it (don't lie to yourself, you were too). I must really not watch movies correctly. I always seem to love the consensus “worst” movie of a series. Like the penultimate Harry Potter was my favorite. And i really enjoyed MI 2
