I guess that does fit into the idea that Ted is a vehicle for people to self-actualize through

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

he has to be redeemed.
He’ll end up as the Richmond coach, and Ted’ll go back home once he finally figures out that’s why he’s a mess.

Is "Believe" part of this show's title?

I’m not sure he’ll repair the marriage, but learn to make peace with the new reality of his family. I can’t remember, but I assume he took the Richmond job to run away from it all.

i felt like there was still a little something there with ted and his wife when they were at the pub, and then later at the end of the episode when ted's ex and kid were leaving.

i definitely feel like he's going to leave richmond and go back home so he can be with his son more than he is now.

That all seemed like a red herring to me. Or they reconcile but then Ted messes it up or realizes it’s not his journey.

Fuck him. Every chance he’s been given to repair his imagined tiff with Ted he has completely shat upon. FUCK NATE.

Listening to Sudeikis on FOTW now. Said this story is done, but spin-offs certainly possible, and Ted the character could live on in some other way.
