Some of the Greeks used to think they were pinholes in the filament. Maybe they were on to something.

If aliens would make observations about our species, would one of the main characteristics of us be the fact that we spend so much time on consuming stories? "Here's a homo sapiens sitting outside reading a story. Here's another one laying on a couch watching a story from a device called television. Some homo sapiens spend their whole lives making up these stories, and others compete about getting to play one of the characters in them."

It's kind of crazy that ghostwriting is a thing that is so widely done and accepted. Somebody else writes your book for you and you get to take credit?! And everyone's just cool with it?! I know it's been done forever but it's so strange when you think about it

why do i have so many problems getting grass to grow in my yard where it belongs but can't seem get rid of it when it sprouts up between cracks in the front walk and between the bricks on the sides of our driveway?
