And Ben's dad was alive when the bomb went off. That's why I wondered if the flash sideways was just a universe where the bomb went off, destroyed the power source under the island, and thus everyone's life was different from that point forward.
As far as what you're wondering, that's exactly what you're supposed to wonder during season 6 but the finale tells us that's not what the flash sideways was. In the finale, we're told explicitly by Christian that everything on the Island happened. We're told the flash sideways occurs "after" (though there's not really time "here") everybody died. We see the ones who were ready move on together to whatever the next phase of the afterlife is that they're entering.![]()
And they say that a hero could save us

Maybe I misunderstood this. I thought you meant returned home as in left the island and went back "home." But you really just meant that they went back to their Dharma houses. Yeah, pretty much. It launched our time travelers back to the future and left the Dharmies there and became known as "The Incident" to them and they built the hatch to prevent another incident.B wrote:So, people like Ben and his father went to the island, worked for a bit, and then returned home after some nut attacked the camp and set off a nuclear bomb?

I know that's what happened to our heros. I was theorizing that the flash sideways was a world where the island's magic was destroyed by the bomb in the 70s.4/5 wrote:You said:B wrote:Yeah, but he was alive when the bomb went off.4/5 wrote: Ben murdered his dad on the island, we see that happen on the show. I watched The English Patient recently; I don’t think I had ever seen Naveen Andrews in anything besides Lost until I saw it.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: TV: Lost
It’s pretty well known about SNL. I wonder if the issues at Curb are similar to The Goldbergs with Garlin creating problems.

Re: TV: Lost
Garlin was pretty abusive to people on the crew and I think there were issues with him having a hugging problem. He would give them out whether asked for or not or even asked not to and people got tired of it. Apparently it was a long time coming as cast and crew had been complaining for years before something happened.tragabigzanda wrote:???wease wrote:It’s pretty well known about SNL. Re: TV: Lost
This show is set up well for an eventual reboot assuming they can find great writers. The kids from the original series are grown and find themselves on the island.
Walt
Aaron
Ji Yeon
Clementine
Charlie (Desmond and Penny’s kid)
Am I forgetting any?
Write in 2 more characters that are eventually revealed as Kate’s kids. One from Jack, she was pregnant when she left the island and the other she later had with Sawyer off island.
Could Peggy Bundy have had Locke’s kid? I can’t remember the timing.
The only original character that needs to be back is Hurley but others could be included assuming they are well written.
Someone pitch it to ABC. Call it “Lost: Generations” or something like that.
