Re: NBA Thread
I'm fully on board the Denver train this series. Miami burning my Boston Bums is still too fresh.
But in all honesty I would probably be rooting for Miami over any other Western Conference team except for Denver. And Sacramento I guess. I love how Miami play and who they are, except when they are playing against Boston. Then fuck those guys.

Re: NBA Thread
I suspect it might be, but I would hazhard against counting Miami out just yet. They keep proving how good they are, no reason to think they won't keep doing so this series as well.zeb wrote:Is this series going to be a cakewalk for the Nuggs?

I love this post so much.bada wrote:I've been thinking about who to root for. I have zero feelings about Denver. The players, the franchise I got nothing. They barley exist in my consciousness. I've had plenty of negative emotions tied up in the Heat over the years. They play the right way though. The fact that they have a bunch of late round and undrafted players both fascinates me and pisses me the fuck off. Caleb Martin man...that guy. All NBA Caleb Martin. Makes me sick really....with jealously. I can't root for Miami but I feel weird rooting against them cause they represent everything I should love. I respect them I guess. Still I don't want them to win. I'm fine with Denver winning cause who the hell cares if they win? Then I think all those stupid fucking picks Danny and you miss Joker. Now I'm mad again. I don't know Denver I guess.

Re: NBA Thread
How do you miss that goaltending call? Great response by the Heat.
The league really needs to do something about all the constant flopping and falling.

A rule change where a flop could now be called an offensive foul would sort it out pretty quickly.Monkey_Driven wrote:The league really needs to do something about all the constant flopping and falling.

Re: NBA Thread
I love Jimmy Buckets but I hate that he falls over on every 2nd shot attempt he has. He flopped when he missed a 10 foot jumper in front of Gordon who didn't even graze him and got handed 2 FTs as per usual.zeb wrote:A rule change where a flop could now be called an offensive foul would sort it out pretty quickly.Monkey_Driven wrote:The league really needs to do something about all the constant flopping and falling.
I appreciate I say this as a Celtics fan with Mr flop himself, Marcus Smart.
The league has to get it out of the game - I seriously hate it. The current NBA players are turning the game into soccer which is a laughing stock for this sort of bullshit "game play".
Miami were great tonight - knew not to count them out.

Re: NBA Thread
I'm wondering if trying to work Herro back in might not ultimately cost the Heat a game. Usually when guys come back after a long time away it screws stuff up.
