I kind of want to own an Indian restaurant just so that I can name a dish the Lightning Balti.

Still not sure about this one. I don't dislike it as much as I used to, but... meh.

Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
I spend the whole time waiting for the last verse plus outro, but that's OK. I like the bridge a lot and I'm less embarrassed by the studio version's chorus than the Wrigley one. The version of this they played at Pit was pretty good as well.

Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
Out of the 5 pj songs my 6 yr old daughter knows; daughter, elderly woman, nothingman, betterman and lightning bolt, she likes lightning bolt the best/likes to sing along to it the most. She's totally unbiased to previous PJ albums because she learned those 5 songs at the same time. She has good taste in clothing (tells me what looks best) and music too, I think.
So the final verdict is it's a very good to great song?

Very good song, for me. Falls just slightly short of being great. I give it 4.5 stars.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

I'm really surprised by how much I love this song. One of my favorites on the album.

I always think of "Born in the USA" with the keyboard part. It's quite a nice homage, if you like that sort of thing.

Re: New Song: Lightning Bolt
Even despite the chorus, could this be one of the catchiest/singable pj songs ever? In this department I have it even with "elderly woman" and maybe "betterman". I have it above "wishlist".
