I only have three and it’s too much.
I thought it was annoying with just the bird one.

I’ve been dismissing them until I get into a fight I can’t handle then summon them back.
(You can turn them ‘off’ just click their emblem in your inventory to dismiss and call back)

Yeah i'm at 4, and they are just too much at this point. I keep the wind guy around most of the time cause i use that gust a lot, but the rest of the gang only get called back when I need them for a fight or for their specific ability.

Current stats:
Somewhere north of 100hrs, probably 110 or 120
104 shrines
37 lightroots
106 koroks
5 full batteries

I feel like i spend a lot of time traipsing around the depths but somehow i've still only uncovered 1/4th of the map.

Was just about to ask that. Large parts of the depths just seem cut off and impossible to get to down there.
I’m sure we can find entrances up top but that weird little island down the bottom right /southeast has a whole thing going on and yet seems cut off.
I’m probably missing something

There's only 5(?) areas that require using their own depth entrance. The depths below Eventide, Rito Village, Lake Hylia, the labyrinth in the northeast,,and the island directly east of Hyrule Castle. The other 115 can be accessed once you enter the main depth area - there are boundaries, however.

For the most part, the boundaries in the depths (not counting map edges) is water. If there is a river, ocean, or lake up above, you won't be able to cross it down below.

And a good piece of information learned from reading those Yiga books - if there's stalactites, the wall is a boundary and you can't climb over it.

Was gonna ask how you turn them off

They do come in handy getting shots in during battles.. more effective sidekicks than most games where you have computer partners

The curly beach out off the coast.
I got a map told me to go there. In the depths. Just an x.

You have to do it in the depths.

It’s a fuckin ordeal. Better be worth it. Only halfway around it.

Most are piece of equipment from a previous title - Tunic of Time, Trousers of Twilight, Cap of Wind, etc.

Holy shit! A sidequest that gives you a heart (or stamina). I never thought I'd see the day again.

I'm at 150 Shrines. The last 2 are in the storm. Can I enter without triggering the endgame?

Is that the kick off for the end? I’ll avoid it so. Thanks for the heads up

I haven’t had much use for all the bubble gum machine prizes but man. The single use portable cooking pots are a godsend down in the depths. Glad I went looking for sundelions and got a good store before.

Hope the rest of the stuff is as useful but I never remember I have it

Yeah you get rid of the storm by doing the crisis at hyrule side quest ( you fight phantom Gannon again) then start the fifth Sage side quest. It’s really fun. You start out on the islands in the storm ( the clouds will clear) and finish it in the depths in the spirit temple where you get the fifth sage, which is essentially a giant robot you ride around on.

If you aren’t building vehicles or weapons with the “bubble gum” stuff, you aren’t really getting the full experience of the game. You are really missing out, dime
