I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I understand why the studios are all licking their chops over the multiverse thing. That way they're free to keep rebooting the same characters every few years. They can also kill off whoever they want and still have them come back (looking at you Zod).

It's also a way to inject even more nostalgia into some properties. And nostalgia = big bux

multiverse is cool. the effects are amazing and it makes for wilder, more unpredictable stories

I have a lot of issues with some characterizations here and some story choices but damn, the animation here surpasses the first one by a lot. Such generosity of detail. And I loved the increased focus on the parents. All the super explainy spider verse stuff had me checking out mentally, and this type of cliffhanger with literally NO resolution kind of bugs me, but overalll very good
