Can we just take some time to appreciate that Mike wrote both of the lead singles, Jeff wrote all of the good songs and did the entire album concept

Ed sounds so great. I love the solo. I love the varying degrees of tension and release. I love the somewhat unique structure of it all.

Best song about a surfboard that I've ever heard.

I love that they are at a point in their lives Shen they can start a solo on the lyric 'she's your rock and roll' because it's awesome and fuck you were doing it

I jsut like the reveal at the end...

"Like you!"

Westerberg has a great song called Achin' To be...

The entire song is about this girl (maybe the same chick in FON!) and at the end of the song the lyrics are:

I saw one of your pictures, there was nothing that i could see
If noones on your canvas, well im achin' to be

She closes her mouth to speak and..
Closes her eyes to see..

Thought about, and only love, she's achin' to be...

Just like me...

What surprises me is that Stip and I are around the corner from each other on this album, so far. I mean, I'm not ready to put it at #4 or anything crazy like that. But in terms of his song ranking and the songs I've feeling right now... we're neighbors.
