Little Men

«A new pair of best friends have their bond tested by their parents' battle over a dress shop lease.»

Minor release, that received amazing reviews, 97% on RT. Watching it now.

Simple straightforward story, but a good movie, with a few great scenes.

Thank you. That was an interesting point of view.

It fits best with the first story, of a wise hard working woman, who probably feels like she doesn’t get the respect she deserves. Although little is shown to support it. She does however, not ask for much support, and just does what she has to do.

It fits a little less with the not so great second part, although there is two men, and just one woman in it.

Either way, the third story was very interesting, but felt like it needed another half an hour. Could have been a good standalone movie.

Lady Macbeth

«In 19th-century rural England, a young bride who has been sold into marriage discovers an unstoppable desire within herself as she enters into an affair with a worker on her estate.»

Good start to this so far.

The movie lost me towards the end. Did enjoy the production and the acting.

See a lot of people loving this, but it’s just ok for me so far. Doubt that will change. Reminds me a bit of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Obviously Samberg, but there’s also something about the production that goes beyond his involvement.

MacGruber. Man, I really want to like this movie. Gets a few good laughs, but still doesn't hit home for me.

Julieta

« After a casual encounter, a brokenhearted woman decides to confront her life and the most important events involving her estranged daughter.»

Intriguing start to this.

Will watch Sieranevada afterwards. A Romanian movie.
