The trailer I saw, they totally did. Or maybe it was Clooney.BurtReynolds wrote:I dont usually care too much, but those fx look awful.

The Keaton wig is technically an effect too.

Re: Movie: The Flash- Flashpoint (2022)
Just came out from this one.
I had so much fun. Even if there are some clunky vfx moments, and most of the times the humor is not good; the movie is a blast and Miller is very very good in this.
Keaton rules.

My non-spoilery review:
-this didn’t feel like a 2 1/2 hour movie
-lots of bad cgi
-Ezra Miller was great

My non-spoiler review:
oh my god so much bad cgi. like, what is the point?
painfully unfunny, but boy does it try to be funny. It doesn't try a lot of different things, it just does different versions of the same joke pattern over and over and over
no stakes
bad

was it just me or when he and barry were having the conversation and he got into the car he looked more like ewan mcgregor?
i thought ezra really acted his ass off in this thing. like others have said the CGI was just bad.
it also seemed like a lot of the ideas were already done in the MCU's multiverse/comics
i liked the cameo on the bridge as well as the Who the fuck is that?!
id give it a solid 6-7 outta 10

Re: Movie: The Flash- Flashpoint (2022)
I'm not sure this worked at all but I really, really liked it.
I can only assume all the bad, unnecessary CGI was a result of the movie being rearchitected in light of the DCEU falling apart, needing to repurpose the movie at the 11th hour. They probably had to create a bunch of new stuff on the fly and didn't have access to the actors.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun despite its glaring flaws. I wish they'd taken a shot at this movie 5 or 6 years ago.

Re: Movie: The Flash- Flashpoint (2022)
It's weird, the more I think back to this movie the more confused I am as to whether I actually liked it or not. I think I did?! It's messy and weird and thematically muddled and has some of the most awful CGI I've ever seen but I also found it extremely fun and very moving at parts. Yeah I did cry during that scene. Also Sasha Calle was both very good and smoking hot. Interesting that the film takes the Zack Snyder Justice League as canon and not the Whedon one (it references both Barry saving Iris West from the car accident and Barry traveling back in time during the battle against Steppenwolf, both things that were removed from the Whedon JL), Overall it might be a fitting end to the Zack Snyderverse; a decade-plus of confounding choices, fascinating failures, and flashes of greatness.

Re: Movie: The Flash- Flashpoint (2022)
Saw it last night.
The CGI was most egregious during the falling wing sequence. Most of the rest of it wasn’t totally bad. But
It was just a really fun movie that I will actually watch again. First DC movie in a very long while I’ve said that about.
The after credits scene is a waste of time.
