No one in Russia with any international standing is willing to be the Dixie chicks of this conflict.

you just feel like so many of these russian soldiers are being forced to fight a war they don't want

being improperly trained

looks like this counter-offensive is the polar opposite of the one where the north was quickly liberated

ukraine needs airpower

sending guys in on the ground into mined areas subject to shelling and air attacks is suicide

My family in Ukraine are on the run now. Will be a long journey, but hopefully they will be safe.
