Re: The Running Thread
Thanks…All three miles were around the exact same pace, which is rare for me. I did t go all out, but was a bit winded afterward. Hopefully I’ll progress. Really have fallen off from last spring.tragabigzanda wrote:Nice steady pace there lennylennytheweedwhacker wrote:3 miles in 28:15. Most normal run I’ve had in two months.

Yeah the humidity will be brutal. I just lose so much if I take off more than a few weeks, or only get like 15-20 miles in for the month.washing machine wrote:I've learned to be okay with taking the summer months more or less off, but good job guys. Re: The Running Thread
I'll probably run some in July as part of the semi-annual mileage challenge the Believe in the Run folks do, but even then it'll probably be short early AM miles or treadmill work.
September is usually when I start ramping up.
Any of you guys have any races coming up?

How many RMers do you hope to be able to beat up at one time?tragabigzanda wrote:Yessir. Not really improving beyond what I previously shared, but honestly fine with that. 4 miles in 43:20. Plan was to go low and slow, and was hoping I’d get it in no more than 44:00. This was definitely what I needed after failed faster runs of late.

Re: The Running Thread
I really upped my milage this month. I ran 67.7 miles last month. And I've hit 92.3 so far this month. Still one day to go!

I ran twice in May and once in June. The last time I went out was for a 30 minute 5k on June 4. I never adjusted to a warm weather schedule

Re: The Running Thread
It’s tough. I went Friday and struggled through two slowish miles. The air was thick afThe Argonaut wrote:I ran twice in May and once in June. The last time I went out was for a 30 minute 5k on June 4. I never adjusted to a warm weather schedule
Went tonight and did 3 miles in 29:20. About what I was hoping for with not trying to go too hard. Definitely still pretty humid though
