Or maybe not.

The drama continues.

I thought Porzingis was hard to coach? Did Phil Jackson send him out of NY for being hard headed?

Joe M will say "I love you" and he'll be great though, so no worries.

Wizards: Tyus Jones, Mike Muscala, Danilo Gallinari and the No. 35 from Boston

Celtics: Memphis’ first-round pick (No. 25) and Golden State’s 2024 first-round pick (via Memphis) and Porzingis

Grizzlies: Smart.

We will see what happens with KP's new contact next year, but this seems like the rare win/win/win trade.

Best behavior Smart could be useful for the Grizz but the intangibles/heart and soul labels that everyone will throw around today are nonsense. Those fake tough guys down in Memphis aren't gonna put up with him sonning them anytime someone stick's a mic in his face. Talk radio in Memphis will love him though he's good for a quote.

Now let's see what dealin' Brad Stevens has in mind with these picks and Brogdon/Williams, Grant/ Williams, Rob/Pritchard

White's your start PG now, no?

White was their third best player last year and if anything Smart was in the way. I'm good with White at the starting PG. I would prefer they had a elite ballhandler/passer at that position but that's not their offensive philosophy.

Who's going to jack up air balls at the buzzer now for the C's? Lol.

The rumor is that they are far from done, so I will wait to judge the trade.

They have some picks to flip. That Warriors pick in '24 could be pretty tasty if they take a step back.

Celtics faithful are freaking out about Smart. It's why I don't like talking sports I'm surrounded by idiots.

Smart is hardly untradeable and he's an asset they've been waiting to deal, so I don't understand the hysteria but I hear it too.
Also, Smart called out the coach during the playoffs, so there's that, too.

Bottom line, if KP is healthy in the playoffs it was probably a good trade. Lots of Heat fans celebrating it as the Celtics losing their only guy with heart, of course other Heat fans are in shambles over it.
