Nah im just not a gamer really. Zelda are the only games I loved. I’ll get them on whatever console they’re on.
Won’t be buying a switch again no. Next Zelda game is likely going to be on Nintendo’s new console so I’ll get that. But we’re years out from that I reckon.

Just didn’t love this one sadly

E.H. Ruddock wrote:One thing I dislike is something I disliked in BotW as well. To fully upgrade armor, you have to collect A LOT of shit. Not all of it is easy to come by. And now there are more armor sets.
Legitimate complaint. And what’s the point? Who’s it for? It’s never of actual use.
Oh, upgrading this armor will really ramp up your defense against hinox.
Fuck yeah, what do I need?
9 hinox guts.
:?

So I finished off Ganondorf without knowing there was a fifth sage and without the fight in the castle. That just shouldn’t happen. One of parts I disliked about Adventure of Link was how the reward in each temple was an implement thats only use was to getting to the next section of map - a hammer to break a rock, a raft to cross the sea, etc. But there needs to be a happy medium. Make me play through the intended main quest anyway. I’m at 20/23 with find Zelda and kill Ganon (what am I missing?!)

I finally did all 152 shrines. My last was the yiga hideout, which I had ignored after akala, so it took 2-3 hours.

I’m missing many pieces of armor and never found the shield.

Yeah, that is one thing that annoys me; most of the tasks lead to items I really have no need or desire for. But I guess like young Miley Cyrus sang, it's about the climb.

This is more of a "journey, not the destination" sort of game.

I haven’t finished the game, not even close, but someone mentioned the game not having that “aha moment” like the opening of BotW did.

I disagree. There have been at least a few - the one that stands out to me is being frustrated about not getting into the Lost Woods, but then paragliding into Korok Grove underground and realizing This Is The Way. That was pretty cool.

I think i only need one more of those.

I just did the side quest where you fight the monsters in your underwear because some survey team members misheard the princess. Dumb but also kind of hilarious.
I wish you luck on acquiring Robbie's Fabric.
I just learned that there's Addison's Fabric. You need to find every instance of him.

I haven't really started that yet - I am killing them as I see them now. Once you beat the game, you learn how many quests you missed. I'm still going through those.

I wish. I am walking all of the mapped roads just to find him. Along the way I help any fat koroks I see reunite with friends, explore visible caves and wells, and pick and choose when I want to scrap with baddies. It’s been fun.

I sat at a campfire near the Goron mines to avoid a blood moon, and when the morning came, I woke up and there were bokoblins and a moblin sitting there. They instantly acted like I just appeared. I laughed out loud at the scene. And then I murdered all of them.

I've started to really experiment with overly intricate designs. Fun stuff!

I have two wells to find. Not going to look them up but it is getting tedious.

I have 17 bubbulfrogs left according to that weird guy that wants to be one, so I’m assuming that means i have 17 caves left.

I think i have two pieces of armor left. One is in the coliseum with the six lynels, the other is in the chest where you fight the king gleeok in the depths.

Those are the three main things I’m focusing on, besides collecting every damn thing for armor upgrades. I help the sign guy whenever i see him. Same with the bloated koroks. One of them just needed to go down this long hill full of enemies. I just built a wall at the bottom of the hill so he wouldn’t go over the cliff, then went back up and dropped him. He rolled all the way down through the enemies. It was hilarious
