Back to spikes turbulence

I have several friends who are either pilots or stewardesses and I always ask how they handle turbulence

Same answer. It’s just like hitting a pothole when you drive

yeah, or if it hung up for a split second...I was telling him about being intimidated once in the batters box...a first round draft choice lefty threw me a slider in college and I just looked back at the catcher and the umpire and just laughed and smiled saying something like I've never seen that pitch before..is that normal?..they both also laughed
