- I am by no means a deep dish or a fine dining expert, but why oh why...would you take a perfectly good slice of deep dish and cut it up into something so minuscule...for someone who's never had deep dish in their life? what a waste...
just bring them an actual slice.
that part was irritating.

I love that Tina still calls Carmy, Jeff.

I think you'll love it, as long as it doesn't give you anxiety.

First three episodes were great. Love the lead. I was expecting a bit more humor though, mainly on the darker side.

Except that episode 4 took it first. Then episode 5. And then episode 7.Simple Torture wrote:Episode 6 just took the title belt from Last of Us Episode 3.
Honestly, episode 7 is the best episode of the series and a top ten episode of tv, all time.

Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
Episode 7 was so, so good. I feel like 6 lost a bit of its luster when Carmy referred to it directly later in the season; I liked the feel that it was just one of the many things that made him who he was as opposed to the thing that has haunted him, but I still think it’s very good.epilogue wrote:Except that episode 4 took it first. Again, that stretch of 4-7 is mind-blowing. Those four are all great episodes.Simple Torture wrote:Episode 7 was so, so good. Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
This show does stress and visceral tension better than any other show I can think of. And yet there is still buckets of heart and puddles of charm and viewer investment in outcomes is sky high. Fuck! This show is so good.

I've watched the finale multiple times. "Animal" is such a great fucking song. My word does it punch.
Agree that ep. 6 is the best though.
