They were planted by the Deep State.
They're not classified.
“In my opinion, the Jan. 6 ratings — the show of Jan. 6 — hasn't been going so well,” said Alina Habba, an attorney for Trump, “They needed a little drama, so they throw this out there.”
"He thought he'd won the election, so he was packing his stuff late, he rushed, and put the documents in carelessly."
He didn't pack his own shit, so he's innocent of anything you accuse him of related to this or anything else really...
"These were attorney client privileged documents"
I forgot Rand Paul saying that the law DJ broke shouldn't be a law anymore, so this crime doesn't count.
Rudy: "He took the documents. They were classified. He had them at Maralago. Because he was keeping them safe."
WSJ: It's all true, but there's only 67 classified documents and that's not a lot.
DJ on Truth Social: That's my resort and the documents you say I should not have still had in my resort, but I wouldn't have left them on the ground all messy like that.
From tonight's filing: The meeting in June about these documents that were national archive property and that we took to Florida illegally, was actually about us asking if we could keep them for the Trump Presidential Library (whenever it's built), not about us giving the rest of the documents back. The documents that we had, still, illegally.
a president can declassify anything just by thinking about it
The FBI was looking for Hillary's emails.
The DOJ has been *checks notes* weaponized and is out to get Trump.
-Most of the Republican field of candidates running against Trump
If elected I'd pardon him.
-Republican candidate running against Trump that (1) thinks he committed a crime and (2) thinks he'll be found guilty of something that he'd then need to be pardoned for.
There are 33 bathrooms in the resort, so what difference does it make - that he kept these illegally held documents that he was told to return and didn't - in one of those bathrooms?
-US Rep. Byron Donalds
"That's Biden's house..."
It's such a stupid thing to do that it must be fake.

Is it just me or does Jack Smith look like Coach Beard? I can’t not see it.

I've heard of Axios, but haven't been to their site to look at an article. Are they always so clear and concise? It's a breath of fresh air.

Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

If they dont start the trials soon this is getting close to looking like a gish gallop that will reduce credibility with voters.

It's trending that way; then again, he was a very active president, lol.

Too bad they couldn't wrap up the investigations sooner.

why would they freeze his assets?

the documents indictment and the forthcoming Jan. 6th one may be illusory - they're federal cases, and the next republican president will just pardon him.

the main one to watch is the fulton county fake-electors investigation.

Seizing his assets to the extent that he would not be able to afford to mount an effective defense would be some kind of look.
