Back in Rome for two days to wrap this trip up. Today was a good day.

Random encounter - ran into another attorney I know well from chicago behind the capitoline museum (my favorite view of rome). this after my wife ran into a former colleague in positano last week. which was two days after I ran into an old college buddy near piazza del popolo last week. Such a big, but small, world.

One of my favorite places in Rome is Gianicolo, the hill that overlooks the city.

yeah, between this and what we called the zodiac on monte mario (named after an old italian club), you won't get better view. it's funny, but no one goes there besides the locals; you virtually have it to yourself.

interesting...its been probably 5 years since I've been but I remember small restaurants doing that..some in Rome but most in smaller towns in and around Tuscany...keeping the tourists away I guess..
